Bo Cumbo

Bo Cumbo brings over 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, with a proven track record of leading successful commercial launches for 11 specialty and rare disease therapies. He currently serves as President, Chief Executive Officer, and Board Member of Solid Biosciences (Nasdaq: SLDB). Previously, Mr. Cumbo was President and Chief Executive Officer of AavantiBio, Inc. Before that, he held key leadership roles at Sarepta Therapeutics, Inc., where he most recently served as Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer. Earlier in his career, he was Vice President of Sales, Key Account Management, and Treatment Educator teams at Vertex Pharmaceuticals. He also held various commercial roles at Gilead Sciences, supporting its HIV, HBV, and cardiovascular franchises. Mr. Cumbo is currently a Board Member of Verve Therapeutics, Inc. (Nasdaq: VERV) and previously served on the boards of RA Pharmaceuticals and Clinical Supplies Management. He holds a B.S. in Laboratory Technology from Auburn University.
