Jay Mitchell, MBA
Vice President, Clinical Operations
Jay is an experienced biotech leader with over 30 years of experience in clinical operations, specializing in the management of clinical trials across all phases, from Phase I through Phase IV. His expertise spans a wide range of areas, including large global studies, rare and orphan diseases, medical devices, combination products, and both small and large molecules across multiple therapeutic indications. Before joining Climb Bio, Jay held leadership roles in clinical trial operations at GTx Therapeutics, Medtronic, Bristol-Myers Squibb, and ValenzaBio. Over the past decade, he has served as a Clinical Research Consultant for various biotech firms, where he acted as Head of Clinical Operations, focusing primarily on rare autoimmune diseases.
Mr. Mitchell holds a BA in International Relations from the University of Memphis and an MBA from the University of Mississippi.
